Gobernante/a - Housekeeping Manager

About the role

Caldea, an iconic wellness resort in the heart of Andorra, is looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Manager (Gobernante/a) to lead its hotel housekeeping department. You will ensure that guest rooms and public areas consistently meet the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance protocols for all hotel spaces.
• Plan and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, guaranteeing rooms and common areas are ready for guests.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver efficient, high‑quality service.
• Inspect rooms and public zones to verify cleanliness, order, and overall guest experience.
• Manage inventory of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies, including purchasing forecasts and stock control.
• Collaborate with reception, maintenance, and other hotel departments to resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Formal training in tourism accommodation management, hotel management, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a housekeeping department, preferably in boutique or 4‑5 star hotels.
• Fluent in Catalan and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and planning abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.
