Head of Finance

About the role

CoreFi is seeking a Head of Finance to steer its financial strategy, planning and operations. This senior, full‑time remote role will ensure robust financial management that supports rapid growth and strict regulatory compliance across its AI‑powered banking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management for a fast‑growing fintech.
• Prepare, review and present financial statements and management reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and maintain financial controls and optimise finance processes.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, pricing and business‑model evaluation.
• Manage relationships with auditors, regulators and financial institutions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and fintech regulations.
• Conduct financial analysis, performance monitoring and risk assessment to provide actionable insights.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in strategic financial management and corporate finance.
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reports.
• Demonstrated analytical ability for financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation in a technology‑driven environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for financial institutions and fintechs.
• Background in banking, fintech or financial services, preferably with cloud‑based or AI‑enabled platforms.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and cross‑functional remote teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; CPA, CFA or advanced degree is a plus.
