Maintenance Technician – Lenox at the Grid

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Lenox at the Grid community. The role focuses on ensuring that apartments, common areas, and grounds meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical or technical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Experience handling make‑ready turnover processes for residential units.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and documentation.
• Willingness to perform general grounds‑keeping and cleaning tasks.
