Part-Time Personal Trainer (Campus Recreation)

About the role

The Personal Trainer will work one‑on‑one or with small groups of students and campus members, delivering customized fitness sessions and supporting their wellness goals. This part‑time, temporary role is based on the Main Campus and reports to the Assistant Director of Fitness and Wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Review interest forms and identify potential clients.
• Contact clients to schedule training sessions.
• Design and deliver individualized or small‑group workout plans.
• Guide clients through safe and effective exercise routines.
• Track client progress and maintain accurate client files.
• Coordinate purchase of ongoing sessions with the Assistant Director.
• Collaborate with other Fitness and Wellness staff as needed.

Required profile

• National certification from a reputable organization (e.g., ACE, ACSM, NASM, NSCA).
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Professional, engaging demeanor with strong motivation to help others.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, workout structure, and proper form.
