R&D Research Scientist – Advanced Therapies

About the role

Cellab CDMO is seeking an R&D Research Scientist to join its growing research team. You will work at the intersection of science, technology, and product development, helping to translate innovative cell‑based concepts into therapeutic solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and execute analytical, quality‑control, functional, and potency assays.
• Support new product development and continuous improvement of existing processes.
• Perform experiments related to cell therapy, cryobiology, and advanced therapy products.
• Analyze, interpret, and discuss experimental results critically.
• Stay current with scientific literature and emerging technologies.
• Prepare scientific documentation, reports, presentations, and publications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on product development and knowledge transfer.
• Provide technical follow‑up on client‑driven research projects and assist with research proposals and ethics submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biomedicine, Biology, Pharmacy, Health Sciences or related field.
• Experience in R&D, preferably in cell therapy, advanced therapies, or bioprocessing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a rigorous, organized approach.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Basic proficiency in scientific/technical English and strong communication skills.
