About the role

The municipality of La Massana is seeking a Technical Manager to lead its accounting, treasury and internal control functions. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective cash management and robust internal controls in a public sector environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the municipality’s financial accounting processes.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closings and prepare the annual accounts.
• Monitor municipal treasury, forecast liquidity and oversee cash flow management.
• Develop, implement and maintain internal control systems.
• Assist in the audit of files and the preparation of technical reports.
• Prepare required documentation for external audits and control procedures.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, finance, accounting, budgeting or public administration (or equivalent).
• Minimum three years of experience in similar accounting, treasury or internal‑control roles.
• Proficiency in Catalan at level B2 or equivalent.
• Compliance with the additional requirements set out in the official call.

What we offer

• Full‑time position (37.5 hours per week) with a schedule from 08:00 to 15:30.
• Gross annual salary of €37,084.19 paid in 13 installments.
