About the role
The Advancement Office of the Law Center seeks an Associate Director of Development to lead major gift and planned giving efforts. This role focuses on cultivating donors who contribute between $100,000 and $1,000,000 to support the Law Center’s mission.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and qualify major gift and planned giving prospects within assigned geographic areas.
- Develop and execute annual engagement strategies covering discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship phases.
- Facilitate donor visits for senior leadership, faculty, and administration as needed.
- Collaborate with the Dean, Assistant Dean of Development & Alumni Affairs, and other stakeholders to achieve fundraising targets.
- Travel as required to meet prospects and donors.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Three or more years of successful major‑gift and planned‑giving fundraising experience, including personal solicitations of $100,000 or more.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with alumni, friends, parents, and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
