About the role
The Associate Registrar for Exams supports the Law Center by overseeing all aspects of exam administration, ensuring fairness, accessibility, and academic integrity for thousands of students each semester.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the administration of 10,000+ final exams each semester.
- Collaborate with faculty on exam creation, guidelines, and delivery.
- Oversee accommodated exams in partnership with the Office of Accessibility Services.
- Manage exam scheduling, conflict resolution, and student relief requests.
- Work with Capitol Campus UIS partners to implement and evaluate exam technologies.
- Supervise a team of three full‑time staff and approximately 50 temporary proctors.
- Develop staff, foster a collaborative, student‑focused culture, and ensure efficient office operations.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of academic policies related to examinations.
- Experience in managing large‑scale exam processes.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and equity.
- Excellent collaboration skills with faculty, accessibility services, and technology partners.
