Planner / Scheduler

About the role

We are looking for a Planner / Scheduler to own and maintain the integrated project schedule for large-scale data-center builds. The schedule drives engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities and is used as the primary decision-making tool for meeting commercial energisation dates.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a Primavera P6 integrated schedule covering engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, reflecting realistic delivery logic.
• Run the progress cycle: conduct field walk-downs, capture progress, update partner schedules and re-baseline monthly.
• Analyse critical and near-critical paths, model recovery scenarios and present actionable options to leadership.
• Integrate and audit GC/EPC and major vendor schedules, ensuring milestone credibility and holding partners to commitments.
• Develop Level 1-5 commissioning schedules in collaboration with the CXQC Field Manager and protect them from construction compression.
• Produce schedule health reports, look-ahead charts, float consumption metrics and written critical-path narratives for weekly and monthly reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of planning/scheduling experience on large capital projects, preferably data-center, power or heavy-industrial environments.
• Expert-level proficiency with Primavera P6, including multi-thousand-activity programs, resource and cost loading, and baseline management.
• Strong schedule quality discipline – DCMA-style health checks, logic auditing and intolerance for open-ended logic.
