Strategic Finance Manager

About the role

The Flex is looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to build and own the financial systems, controls and insights that will support its fast‑growing global accommodation business. You will work directly with the founders and senior leadership, providing accurate reporting, performance analysis and strategic recommendations as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day financial controls and reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all numbers shared with management.
• Identify manual finance tasks, design more efficient processes and partner with engineering to automate them.
• Reconcile payments from Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, direct reservations and other distribution partners.
• Reconcile bank accounts, monitor accounts payable and receivable, and resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Review supplier invoices and company expenses, and oversee statutory filings and corporate compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisers, auditors and banking partners.
• Prepare financial statements for landlords and property owners when required.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools that give real‑time visibility into company performance.
• Evaluate financial results across individual properties, cities, countries and business units.
