Senior AI Solutions Engineer

About the role

Oyster, a global employment platform, is hiring a Senior AI Solutions Engineer, reporting to the AI Director and working closely with functional leadership. The role helps make business functions AI native, initially in People & Legal, Finance and Operations, by rethinking how people work with AI and where agents can take on operational work. It is fully remote, open to candidates based in the EMEA or AMER regions.

Key responsibilities

• Make business functions AI native by moving teams from manually running tools and workflows to humans orchestrating AI-powered ways of working.
• Shape the AI roadmap with functional leaders and lead complex initiatives from discovery through adoption and measurable impact.
• Design, build, test and improve AI agents, agentic workflows, automations and integrations using LLMs, orchestration platforms, APIs and enterprise data.
• Drive adoption and self-sufficiency by helping teams create reusable prompts, workflows and AI-powered ways of working.
• Measure adoption, quality, reliability and business impact after launch and continuously improve solutions.
• Share reusable patterns, mentor colleagues and raise capability across the organization.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on AI and automation experience, with a track record of redesigning workflows and operating models.
• Ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives independently from an ambiguous problem to measurable results.
• Strong judgement about where AI adds value, where processes need redesign and where automation should not be used.
• Ability to influence functional leaders and mentor others.

Required skills

• Automation with tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make or comparable orchestration technologies.
• Hands-on experience building production AI agents and agentic workflows with LLMs, APIs and enterprise data.
• Experience integrating business systems through APIs, webhooks and authentication.
• Experience in a complex business function such as People, Legal, Finance or Operations.
• Bonus: JavaScript, Python or SQL; familiarity with RAG, MCP, AI evaluation, observability, governance or security controls.
